Or if you have a microSD card handy you could put a fresh raspberry pi OS on the microSD card, connect both the SSD and microSD card to the Pi, get the Pi to boot off the microSD card, then edit the filesystem on the SSD to remove the display config (I don't know off the top of my head how to change boot order, hopefully someone else can provide detailed instruction if needed).
If OP did not mess around with boot order it should simply boot from the uSD. In case OP did mess up stock boot order then he/she will have to reprogram EEPROM to get that sorted.

That's why I always recommend to keep default boot order when using uSD. As long as the card in the uSD slot has no bootable content it can be uses as additional storage. Furthermore it's easy to recover from such situation in a pretty simple way.
