I saw an old thread posted by oldman2 last year.
In it he indicated he finally got an old version OS from 2020 installed with a graphical desktop.
So, is there something I need to do to get that (or ideally the latest OS) installed and working?
I tried the imager program with the latest OS and it gets partway through loading and just stops.
If I go back to the original SD card I had that had the original raspian OS that still works. But it doesn’t have what I need/want.
The raspberry pi website show all the models EXCEPT the very first one (the raspberry pi B with two USB ports and an ethernet port). Does that indicate that Bookworm doesn’t run on it, or was it just an oversight?
My next step will be to try the lite version but when partway down the older thread he noted he used a 2020 OS that caused my to wonder if something else is going on. Does firmware need updating? What is the latest OS that will run on it?
