Automation, sensing and robotics • Re: Defect detection for Pi?

I'm looking for a basic "machine vision" setup for a Raspberry pi- I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions.

Most all I have found looking around have been AI/deep learning style tools, I'd like to find something more basic, like blobs tools, presence/absence, etc.

This could be for any RPI+cam setup.

Could anyone suggest some info for me to look into?
