Looking at the rpi python editor online at editor.raspberrypi.org

Is there any way to use MicroPython and download programs to a Pico?

or can anyone suggest another online easy editor that would work with a chromebook?

I use Thonny which provides a connection through USB to PICO's. See https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/pro ... the-pico/0. You should also consider using MPREMOTE which is the official connection to Micropyton. I have found that Thonny will report errors with the wrong error and pointing to the wrong module occassicionally.
