hi guys! i hope you're all fine
i was thinking about if i can buy only the SoC of the raspberry pi instead of the entire board, i did a quick research but i think there is no way, waiting for confirmed response, thanks
bye!
Use a Compute Module, it's the whole reason they were introduced. That way you also get to use Raspberry Pi software. If you bought the SoC from Broadcom or wherever, then you will not have a licence to use the Pi firmware, so you would be limited to whatever Broadcom could supply.

Designing a board around the SoC is not easy, just get a CM and take advantage of an already proven design.

If you have a broken SoC on a Pi, and want to replace it, that's not cost effective (and its not easy either). Buy a new Pi.
