Thank you for your replies. inclinometer is the word I have been struggling to find and I appear to have used the word calibration incorrectly.
However, still slightly confused. All the examples given, I believe, imply that I would need to tell the program when I believe the device is level and from that point onwards I will be able to read the differential angles as the device is moved.
Basically I want to build something that will tell me that my Campervan is level and whether my sailing dinghy is heeled over, in relation to gravity without having to level the platform after each power on. (over than ensuring the device is correctly mounted).
