That's strange that you got ttymidi-sysex working and not the Zynthian one... They are the same, except mine has an Alsa backend, and theirs has Jack.how to install ttymidi-sysex is a bit of a problem really the olny solution I got working
previously (Pi5 was the last time I manged to do it) was nanoing into ttyimidi.c and pasting ttymidi-sysex, there is not a lot on
In any case if you have some doubts about the MIDI serial speed setup, I have a small Python script to test this on the raw serial port:

You'll have to stop the ttymidi* services or it will conflict.
