Yes, my V2 camera works with "libcamera-still -o test.jpg" in the venv (and elsewhere)
So, I am not sure what the difference is, as my pibooth fails to detect the camera but yours does? then fails on GPIO?
We have:
- a Pi4B (mine is 2GB RAM) running Bookworm 64-bit with desktop and all updates
- a genuine Raspberry Camera Module V2 conencted via ribbon cable
- a venv with system packages
- installed pibooth using pip into that venv
- pibooth is not supported on Bookworm that it is a future enhancement - maybe never
- I have eeprom version: CURRENT: Wed 11 Jan 17:40:52 UTC 2023 (1673458852)
