My RTC recently started iosing time after I shutdown (the RPi5 is turned off; it is not left on standby). The time lost is equal to the time the Pi 5 is turned off, so I assume the RTC Battery is not charging.
I checked the documentation at:https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... y-charging
My config.txt file is correct; re the RTC Battery parameter (I bought the official Raspberry RTC Battery, which is about 6 months old).
However, sysfs files, cited by the above documentation...
/sys/devices/platform/soc/soc:rpi_rtc/rtc/rtc0/charging_voltage
/sys/devices/platform/soc/soc:rpi_rtc/rtc/rtc0/charging_voltage_max
/sys/devices/platform/soc/soc:rpi_rtc/rtc/rtc0/charging_voltage_min
Do not exist on my up-to-date Pi 5, so I cannot check the battery status.
Does anyone know of a solution and/or alternative method for confirming battery charging status?
Thanks in advance. Take care.
