I 'scoped the output from my 13A mains outlet built-in USB power supply and get the following:Having worked with many switch-mode power supplies, I don't think the very narrow spikes we see with peak-to-peak amplitude of around 250mV are much to be worried about. At 1.3MHz, they will be being soaked up by a relatively low capacitance.
This 13A outlet was made (or at least marketed) by 'Wessex' who I believe are one of the more respected names in the UK electrical trade.
And - for the record - still no spurious resets another ten days on.
