Are these Raspberry Pi v2 camera modules that you've bought, or some third party's IMX219 module?
Auto-detection only works for modules made by Raspberry Pi For third party modules please follow the instructions given by the vendor.
If a V2, what camera cable have you used between the 15pin connector on the camera module and the 22pin connector on the Pi5? It should be a Pi camera cable such as https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/camera-cable/. You can NOT use a display cable to do that job.
