MacOS running on Pi? And the chromeos fans for that matter?

Chromos is a form of Linux (uses the Linux kernel).
MacOS is based on an old version of BSD UNIX (that is, if a Raspberry Pi OS user reached a command line on MacOS they would find things quite familiar - if rather dated).

I wanted to run Pi Race

on the Mac Mini M4 to measure the difference between performance and efficiency cores. My attempt failed because macOS has no way to set processor affinity to lock a task to a particular core. I found the software limitations astonishing. I guess it's difficult for a small development team to keep up with Linux.

The M4 processor on the other hand is great.
