The pair of adapters in the set don't use the Pi's onboard HDMI connector, they adapt the MIPI / CSI2 15 pin camera connector pin-outs to an HDMI format and allow the camera signals to be sent over an HDMI cable. (Haven't used them so only following this up for info, not a recommendation!)Thank you for the idea, I'll look into that for another project, but right now I need the HDMI port for the screen.
shows an HQ camera connected to an CM4IO via the adapter set. As said, uses a HDMI cable for CSI data transfer. Requires a good HDMI cable with all pins connected!
