Should I power it with external 5v? And won't those coming from Raspberry Pi Pico go to the bases?Changes needed: Connect each BC547 emitter to pico GND. For the 5V, use the pico Vsys.
Optionally you can add BC547 base to GND resistor 10k, improves switching speed.
Power the TB6600 voltage from separate power supply, no need to connect the motor GND to pico GND (as there are optocoupler on the TB6600 board).
