Recently I got a new waveshare screen capable of displaying 2k. I first hooked it up to my Rpi 4 and ran raspberry pi os which worked perfectly fine and all display and touchscreen functions worked perfectly. I wanted better graphical response time so I ordered a Rpi 5 8gb model to hope and achieve that goal. About a month later when it arrived I hooked it up to the screen and bam I’m only getting the backlight to turn on now. I try multiple things like giving it its own power supply and everything. I even hooked up the pi 5 to a different screen and it worked. I flashed a new so and nothing changed. I wondered if it really was the rpi5’s fault but then now the screen won’t even work with my Rpi 4.
Really what I’m wondering is if the screen can be saved or if there is anyway of making it work again.(btw I even hooked it up to an Xbox and it also didn’t work)
