Thanks all for answering my query.
Here Is some of the required info.

RASPI 4

With raspi-config I can choose headphones or hdmi. So I choose hdmi ! (1,s2 ) after which I have normal audio from the display monitor speakers

The audio settings 1,S2 fails (not functioning)
