Not joking, but I wouldn't recommend doing that, especially to a new user who doesn't know anything about desoldering or hacking bits off. If the OP's board is warranty, it would surely void that warrantyWelcome, new user.So i want to create a custom thing with the Raspberry pi, and i was wondering: what if i were to put my Raspberry pi in a really thin container? the USB and ETH Port are in the way, so i was thinking to just cut them off or desolder them, then use a separate module to attach to the gpio. Will that work or brick the whole thing?
Here's a video about removing all the ports from a Pi 3. Obviously you can skip everything except the parts about the USB and Ethernet ports.

You didn't mention which version of Pi you have, but later models with USB3 sockets will be a bit more difficult. Plenty of examples on the web.
