Certainly likely doable... but why, unless the journey is the goal. BT keyboards are cheap. I would use a full sized or near full sized media keyboard with a trackpad . Cheap, simple, and runs forever off a couple AA batteries. No power issues, no packaging to sort out, no programming to fuss with.it has to be BT 4.x , not USB nor BLE
Perhaps I have too many projects and not enough time, but this makes far more sense to me to solve with money than time. In this particular case, I also have accumulated a vast treasure trove of stuff (or crap as my spouse terms it) which includes many keyboards and would just use one of them.
