Make it only LAN. To start with. A NAS should not run via WiFi.The Pi 5 is setup as OS Lite 64Bit.
I connected it via Lan and Wlan to a FritzBox.
There have be 2 other reports I remember that described troubles with Pi5 and Samba. Yours might be different.
What iperf3 (-R) speeds do you get?
Also explain the forum how the powering of the whole setup works or should work?
