Any idea why a Raspberry Pi 3B wouldn't boot Bookworm (rainbow screen & 7 LED flashes - kernel.img not found) but if I flash an old Stretch image to the same SD card it will boot just fine?
This seems to be repeatable as I've tried each version a few times now with the same results.
I was under the impression the Pi 3 doesn't really have anything in the way of firmware to update to support newer operating systems as it's all on the card, so I'm not sure what else could be the problem.
Should also note it boots a Yocto image using the Raspberry Pi BSP just fine as well. But I just want the newest vanilla Raspbian to boot??
