I just want to say I really appreciate the time you take to do those guides - personally I think Rpi should be paying you for them and adding your guides to their documentation as kiosk mode is a major application for compute modules and yet I find myself here trying to make it work after hours of googling outdated or non-working "tutorials".An update is on my to do list but major changes are required as the current layout and sections do not fit the new situation. Don't hold your breath - recent feedback has been extremely discouraging and this isn't my day job.
As much as I love Pi and Linux, it's eternally frustrating that each update seems to change how things work without really mentioning it, and then require either very in-depth knowledge or hours of googling to do something that should be fairly trivial.
Hell if you had a patroen or something I'd be lobbying our purchasing department to bung you some money for tech support services rendered as you've undoubtedly saved me time and sanity.
Thanks but payment/donation is not necessary. Frustration at the ever increasing number of poor quality, unmaintained, or just plain wrong guides was a large part of my motivation in the first place. All I ask is that you pass the knowledge along.
