Beginners • raspi5 - VNC on OS Lite versions do not work

Hello Mahouligan,

it seems to me that the problem is with the Pi OS Lite versions...

Hardware raspi 5.

Steps done:

1) Installed 2024-10-22-raspios-bookworm-arm64-lite.img => VNC do not work
2) Installed 2024-10-22-raspios-bullseye-arm64-lite.img => VNC do not work
3) Installed 2024-11-19-raspios-bookworm-arm64-lite.img => VNC do not work
4) Installed 2024-11-19-raspios-bookworm-arm64-full.img => VNC WORKS
5) Installed 2024-11-19-raspios-bookworm-arm64.img => VNC WORKS

I have no experience in Linux but i think the Pi OS Lite versions are missing some library packs related to VNC. Probably Wayvnc. But no idea.

It is clear to me that raspberrypi team have no delivered the needed VNC package on the OS Lite versions.

I will change the Subject to raspi5 - VNC on OS Lite versions do not work.
