I have a lot of tinkering to do on my new Pi 5 and would like to do it using Screen Sharing on Pi Connect.
My Pi and another computer share a mouse, keyboard and monitor. I started up the Pi without any of these connected and tried using the other computer to connect using Pi Connect. I connected to the Connect website and KensPi5 was displayed on screen. I clicked it and instead of it asking how I wanted to connect it displayed a screen showing the Pi's UUID and Raspberry Pi Serial Number and buttons to edit or delete them, but no options to connect via SSH or Screen Sharing.
Apparently, this isn't the way to connect to a headless Pi, or perhaps more accurately, starting a Pi with no keyboard, mouse or monitor attached is not how you create a headless Pi. All of the links on the internet on the topic appear outdated and don't mention using Raspberry Pi Connect.
What is the Raspberry Pi Approved way of doing this?
Many thanks,
Ken
