That mention of triggerhappy is interesting. I can find a Pi related dependency removed in 2016. Why is triggerhappy still there? Does anything use it? If not, I will add it to my cleanup script. Take it a step further. Can we delete the package?

Modemmanager appears to be required for 4G. Is that for 4G adaptors? If people use WiFi to access 4G hotspots, can we delete Modemmanager?

avahi-daemon appears to be of no use on my network. Can you delete the package?

Currently I run blame then look up every item listed. Can I delete it? Deleting stuff from the boot system might not make a difference when booting a Pi 5 from NVMe. I am thinking more of booting Zero or anything from microSD.
