I have a Pi B+ running Stretch. I'll check where it finds the package repository and list the sources tomorrow. Sorry, but it's too late right now.thank you, but I am quite sure that I never will upgrade my Pi3B running Stretch - too much annoying work to do (considering my few, but now reliably and reproducibly working programs and apps). And tbh, I have no clue how to install all the outdated packages I would need - I simply want that apt thing to work as before.
(As to malware, for my Windows PCs I have a free Antivirus program to protect me from it which would be wishful for the Pi too.)
Before I'd start to migrate to another OS, I'll bury the Pi for good and after this bad experience I certainly won't buy another Pi4 or 5 then any more.
