there's only a few things that effect the rpi5

1. power source
2. sd card/media
3. screen
4. wireless dongles keyboard/mouse

what i would do,
check i'm using the recommend power source
run raspberry os desktop
run raspberry pi diagnostics to check media
check specs of screen/refresh rate
move dongles to extension or hub
