For completists:

Pimoroni M.2 base unit. top marks. Cannot recommend highly enough. Plus they sell varying lengths of matching FPC cable.

FPC connection is a bit tricky. Use lots of light and a magnifier when inserting into the baseboard. Ditto the Pi 5 itself.

Stack runs at around ~38C no load and no fan control but about ~47C when fan in quiet mode i.e. with 'dtparam=cooling_fan' added to config.txt
