your suppose to load the os on the sd card, put it in, then power on.Hello I just got my pi5 but its not loading up any OS I hold shift to go into the bootloader which I can only do when my SD card is unplugged and when I'm on the screen and plug the SD card back in it detects its being plugged in screen goes blank then the fan on the active cooler goes off and no display is being shown I have tried 3 different micro SD cards two old ones and one brand new just out of the box.
pi's don't have a boot loader, your most likely seeing the diagnostic screen.
