My Batocera Pi5 build is in a home theater rack, so the on board BT is not gonna cut it. I have a BT adapter (on the approved list for Batocera). I booted up a new image, it was working fine, but needed to install the Pironman 5 software for my case, so had to upgrade to v40, but now the BT adapter is not working as my controller only works within a couple feet. Before, I know the adapter worked cause I could play from the couch from 15 feet away just fine.
How can I get/force the adapter to work again?
OR.... Is there a way that's not too crazy to add on a external antenna to the Pi5 board? I saw a couple videos of someone scratching off some of the green epoxy to solder on a antenna connector to the board, but it seemed a lil sketchy.
