I have a Pi 400, and do like the as a small compact PC concept. For me, no CSI or DSI access is an issue. And the orientation of the GPIO header was problematic. It comes down to what you want to do with said device.
A Pi 5 version would be (IMHO) a valid Desktop PC.
What I'd like to see is an expansion add on. One that just Plugs into the GPIO header and has its own matching enclosure. Amplified Sound for stereo speakers. etc, etc.
My solution to the no DSI, CSI, etc, issue is to use a Pi 5 or Pi 4 instead. That's what works for me more often than not.
