Thank you to all that have taken the time to reply….appreciated.

Regarding the flash sequences for trouble shooting…

I’ve tried to read the flashes, and the best I can see is described in the first post. I even took a slo-mo video for the boot to try and get the long-slow flash counts. What I see does not match anything in the table you referenced…

Regarding the boot loader….

In the first post I describe that I did reload the bool loader already, and used a fresh so image on a fresh so card. According to the boot loader the flashing sequence indicates the new boot loader was successfully loaded, but that didn’t solve the “no boot” issues.

What I was hoping for is some boot loader or OS config set up that I could try to do a full system reset. Or some super secret “short these GPIO pins at boot and say the following incantation” process that would clear any and all RPi settings. From what I’ve tried, and the research I’ve done, it appears something just failed on the board…which is a first in my experience. Usually failures are related to external devices, a bad SD card, or a wonky power supply. Never had an actual board fail before.

So if some RPi expert/engineer has a non-official or non-published process to reset a RPi 4b share it now, or the board will become a “show and tell” prop.
