Beginners • [Solved] Re: stacked dual screen setup only uses one monitor

turns out switching to X11 was pretty easy and just worked, so didn't look into the other option

if anyone else comes across this:
- sudo raspi-config
- select "6 advanced options"
- select "A6 wayland" and switch to X11
- reboot
sounds like the wacom is a mouse only...
The pen is recognized as non-mouse in graphics applications like mypaint and krita, but its also distinct from touch, so I guess its misclassified by some components as more "mouse-like" instead of more "touch-like". For now I'm happy with a duplicated screen and don't have immediate need to fix input on extended workspaces. I imagine I could adjust the transformation matrix via xinput commands if I had to, have looked into that before on another (non-pi) device which didn't rotate properly, but writing those scripts is a pain, so trying to avoid it.

Anyways, thanks for the hint, happy the solution was so simple.
