Troubleshooting • Nespi4 case front panel + safe shutdown stopped working after OS upgrade

Due to "life" (long story averted)
It was necessary to reinstall an updated OS and retropie on a new SD card.

This caused the front panel buttons and power LED on the front of my NesPi 4 (retroflag) to stop functioning properly.

I reinstalled the setup script
wget -O - "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Retro ... install.sh" | sudo bash

After that the power LED stays on longer...
it seams to have taken care of the issue up until the EMULATION STATION's load progress screen comes on.

At this point the power LED goes back out and there is no safe shutdown function.

If I do a normal system shutdown, then push the NesPi 4 power off button the system actually starts to reboot! Only to be powered off suddenly again in the splash screen
