Sorry, the OS is Debian Bookworm...Hi..
I have just ordered the new Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT and SSD disk.. Today I am booting from a SD-card, using the Pi5 as a server (ZFS fileserver) and also installed Netdata, by compiling the Netdata source, for monitoring.. The Pi5 works very well as a backup server.
My question is: I have installed some other tools like development and zfs modules. Is there a safe way to dd (or another tool) all of my data, including boot and kernels from my existing SD-card to my new SSD disk and just remove the SD-card to boot from new SSD disk..
Thomas
You haven't said what Operating System is running on your RPi[5] board.
If it is RasPiOS, and you are able to use the standard Desktop GUI, then in the Accessories section of the Start Menu you will find the SD Card Copier utility. That may be what you need?
