I thought the upshot of the other thread you started on this general topic - was that the program did *not* work right on the Pi (It did work on Windows, but you were trying to move the process over to the Pi from Windows).
Anyway, just out of curiosity, how complicated is this program? In general terms, what does it do? (it sounds like it does some automated/textual processing on a file - doing something to a 6GB file to produce an 11GB file, on a nightly basis). Have I got that right?
