I tried to explain my situation. I naively thought that if I did so someone would have realized the mistake and moved the post back to the General Discussion where it started. I was quite upset that nobody seemed to care.
BTW, the only reason I deleted the contents of the the first post in this thread was it served no purpose since it was in a forum where anyone that cared wouldn't even know about it.

Good grief...I did ask for the thread to be moved in the thread "Why was my post moved? but nobody cared. I only deleted the original content of the first post in this thread because it was moved to a category where anybody that cared would see it. I was going to delete the whole thread but kept it as a means to continue with the protest of this situation.
BTW, since some people thought it was rude that I deleted the contents of the first post so I edited that post to again have what was thought to be controversial. The text is not exactly what was there before but I recreated it best I can remember.

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know the details of what happened to you, But,sadly, there are rude people everywhere.
OP seems to be reluctant in understanding that post can be moved to more suited categories. Nobody was/is rude except OP (most likely) as deleting his own post shows this quite nice
